Span the Century

Take a moment and join us as we travel across time with Free People's November catalog. Making stops in some of the most fashionable decades, the catalog spans across 90 years of trends. The holidays are right around the corner which means it's prime time for catalogs. It's the only time of year when the items on the pages match the weather and we all know that there's nothing worse than buying that perfect item and having to store it away until mother nature decides to cooperate. Free People has put together a breathtakingly beautiful November catalog which begins in ethereal 1920s Paris. Bright lights, champagne and pin curls abound. Paris is bursting with inspiration and Free People explains, "the grayish light and romantic architecture created a dreamy backdrop to the 1920s styling worn by Elsa Hosk and sisters Zuzanna and Julia Bijoch." From the buildings to the cobblestone streets, the FP team drew ideas from the fanciful surrounds - even from the cafe walls (see below.) They posted this video to accompany the images - a 4 chapter journey through the last century ending with modern day stylings (and dance moves). From 1920s Paris, to 1950s NYC and then 1970s Morroco this catalog is quite the trip.

The catalog features our Kane Heel Brogue (seen below) and countless vintage-style delicate lace dresses, loose knits and interesting layering. We've included some of our favorite shots, but to see (and shop!) the whole catalog click here. //all images sourced from Free People
